XCMG technical center founded by XCMG R&D institute and /XCMG heavy manchin ery Co. technical center, is the fronteer of XCMG inovation . XCMG is one of the first enterprises crowned as technical center in China. At present, XCMG technical center owns more than 240 researching staff with master degree or above. Among them, there 3 post doctorates and 2 doctors. These people have been a powerful researching team , a weighty team in construction machinery field in China. The technical center provides important technical support to XCMG, researching and developing new products, new tech and new craftwork. Meanwhile, technical center is the hightech incubation center to exchange overseas technology.

XCMG R&D institute devides into three sections stydying on main body, mechanical system, hadraulic system, electric system of compaction machinery, loading machinery, raod surface machinery, pile driving machinery. The compaction machinery , loading machinery and road surface machinery has taken the leading position in China.
¡¡¡¡There are seven branch researching offices belonged to the technical center. They are crane office, chassis office, pedrail office, fire engine office, pump truck office, standard office, and craftwork office. XCMG Heavy Machinery Co., techincal center takes ¡° to revise, to explore, to save¡± as their working spirit. XCMG have been developing crane, fire engine and pumt truck series. K series crane have been in the market recentyly. 32 products owns independence property right . 650 revising technology have bring output of 15 billion yuan, and net benefit 20million yuan. The researching speed of new products have been 3 times before. XCMG owns some specific technology in hydraulic control, CPU control, CAN, instructure design.
¡¡For these years, XCMG technical center has taken part in several important researching projects on construction machinery including QYA160 crane, 160pitch and concrete mixer., G series wheel loader, CDZ fire engine, ZD1245 drill such new products. XCMG have take part in ¡°863 project¡± aimed in robotization of construction machinery, which have improved the performance of wheel loader, compaction machinery and road construction machinery. At present, XCMG is cooperating with Qinghua University, Southestern University such on 863 project aimed in intelligent construction machinery and compond drill, which will be a grate push in the construction machinery made in China.

Within ¡°tenth five¡± period, XCMG with the strategic objective of internationalization, is trying to explore international market. He continually boosts the investment in R&D of new products and always apply the new tech to its products. XCMG has absorbed the technology of The Navigation of Schenck from Germany. Now XCMG has owned its own developed testing methods, which have been widely used in practical. To obtain the application to mechanical , electronicand hydraulic integration, XCMG is constructing the electrical lab and hydraulic lab.

The post doctorate funded by XCMG, Qinghua University and Northestern University has resovle a series of problemes on products. XCMG is trying to construction of their own independence property right by taking part in ¡° Ninth five¡± ¡°Tenth five¡± ¡°863 project¡±. XCMG owns 127 patents and 47 technical improvement prizes.
